Voting open for election Golden Stick 2025-2026!
Once again this season, you can decide who can call themselves the best player and player of the Tulp Hoofdklasse. Players and coaches will vote, but you will choose who eventually walks away with the Golden Stick. So, who do you think deserves the honour?
The election for the Golden Stick focuses explicitly on performance in the regular league and is considered the individual recognition within Dutch club hockey. It is not a pure public award, but a professional award in which the votes of coaches and captains weigh heavily.
They each determine forty per cent of the result by compiling a top three. The public also has an important vote with twenty per cent, but only chooses the number one. All players from the Tulp Hoofdklasse are eligible for the election.
The ballot boxes are open until 15 May (11.59pm). After that, the votes will be counted and the Golden Stick will be awarded at the end of the season.
