What the stats say
- SCHC has not lost to Amsterdam (W4 D3) in all leagues for seven games in a row.
- SCHC's last defeat against Amsterdam dates back to 31 March 2024, during the EHL semi-final at Wagener Stadium (2-1).
- SCHC lost only one of its last 10 official away games against Amsterdam at Wagener Stadium (W4 D5): that 2-1 in the EHL.
- Amsterdam and SCHC face each other for the seventh time in the semi-finals of the playoffs (15 games in total). SCHC survived only one of six previous semi-finals against Amsterdam: that happened in season 2023-2024 (0-0 in Bilthoven, 1-2 at the Wagener).
- Amsterdam (four) together with Den Bosch (23) distributed the last 27 national titles in the Hoofdklasse. HGC was the last national champion in 1996-1997 before the hegemony of these two superpowers.
- SCHC enters the play-offs for the national title for the seventeenth time. The team from Bilthoven reached the final in six of the sixteen previous participations (2014, 2015, 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025), but never won the national title. Five times Den Bosch was a stand in the way, once was Amsterdam.
- Amsterdam won eight of its last nine league matches, losing in that series only to... SCHC (0-1 on 26 April).
- SCHC played 27 official matches this season (W21 D5) and suffered only one defeat in them: against Voordaan in the tournament for the Gold Cup (4-0). Important note: in that match, SCHC played with a glorified youth team.
- Amsterdam attacker Felice Albers provided the most assists in the regular league, together with SCHC attacker Pien Dicke. Both players prepared 11 goals by teammates.
- SCHC's Yibbi Jansen already scored eighteen official goals against Amsterdam in her career (on behalf of Oranje-Rood and SCHC). Only against Hurley (27 goals), Den Bosch (23) and Pinoké (21) did she score more often.
