What you need to know about women's match round 20
The Tulp Hoofdklasse Women is up to match round 20. Amsterdam wants to finally win again against SCHC and Tilburg is aiming for a unique result against Pinoké. These are the stats for this weekend's six matches.
ORANGE-ROOD - ROTTERDAM

What the stats say
- Both teams only faced each other five times in the Hoofdklasse. Oranje-Rood won three times (including both home matches so far) and Rotterdam triumphed twice.
- Rotterdam won the first half of the competition 2-0 thanks to goals by Myrthe van Kesteren and Brechtje van Santbrink.
- Oranje-Rood is struggling to get its points. Coach Mark Dekker's team won one of its last seven games (D2 L4). That happened on a visit to Bloemendaal (1-3) on 29 March.
- Orange-Rood lost only one of its last seven home games: D D W D D L D. That happened against HGC on March 22 (2-4).
- Rotterdam lost its last two games and failed to score in those games: 1-0 at Den Bosch and 0-4 against Kampong. The team is waiting three matches for a win: D L K.
HGC - BLOEMENDAAL

What the stats say
- The balance between the two teams in the last six matches between them is neatly balanced: two wins HGC, two wins Bloemendaal and two draws.
- Bloemendaal remained unbeaten in eight of the last 11 matches with HGC (W5 D3), but could not win the last two matches: 2-1 in Wassenaar and 1-1 at 't Kopje.
- On its own field, HGC has fine figures against Bloemendaal: the team remained unbeaten in 16 of 18 home appearances against The Mussen (W14 D2) and suffered only two defeats: 2-3 in 1994 and 0-1 in 2019.
- HGC recorded a welcome 3-0 win over HDM last weekend, ending a mini series of two defeats in a row.
- Bloemendaal has been waiting for a win in the Hoofdklasse for five games: L L L D L. The only point was scored in the away match against Tilburg on 12 April (1-1).

What the stats say
- Of the last 14 matches between them in the Hoofdklasse, no fewer than eight ended in a draw, against three wins for Amsterdam and three for SCHC.
- In the regular league, Amsterdam have already failed to win four matches in a row against SCHC: 2-2, 2-2, 2-0 loss and 2-2.
- Amsterdam won only one of the last nine league matches with SCHC (D5 L3).
- On its own field, Amsterdam has been waiting five matches for a win against SCHC: 2-2, 2-3, 1-1, 2-2 and 2-2. The last home victory over SCHC dates from 8 December 2019, when it was 2-0 through hits by Sosha Benninga and Charlotte Vega.
- Amsterdam won its last six matches, currently the longest-running win streak of any team.

What the stats say
- Pinoké won all seven matches between themselves and Tilburg: four in Amstelveen and three in Tilburg.
- The outward match of the first half of the competition ended in a 5-2 win for Pinoké, with seven different goal scorers: Josephine Murray, Lana Kalse, Elin van Erk, Tessa Beetsma and Bente Jager for the Steekneuzen and Iris Dominicus and Emely Bekker on behalf of Tilburg.
- Striker Tilburg kept five points from its last three matches (2-4 HGC, 1-1 Bloemendaal and 2-2 SCHC).
- Tilburg only scored seven goals in nine home games, the fewest of any club.
- This could be the seventh season in a row that Pinoké ranks among the five best teams in the regular league. In the past six seasons, the team finished fifth, fifth, fifth, fifth, fifth and third consecutively.
KAMPONG - HURLEY

What the stats say
- Kampong are unbeaten against Hurley (W D D W) for four matches since a 3-1 defeat in Amstelveen on 30 September 2023.
- On their own pitch, Kampong have not lost to Hurley five times in a row: 0-0, 2-2, 3-2, 3-1 and 1-1. The last home defeat dates from 24 November 2019 (1-2).
- In its last 13 matches, Kampong lost only to Amsterdam (0-4) and thus remained otherwise unbeaten twvaalf times (W10 D2).
- Hurley is in a difficult phase. The team lost five of its last six matches and in between only picked up a point at Rotterdam (1-1) on 29 March.
- Hurley won only one of its last 12 away games in the Hoofdklasse (D4 L7): that was the 0-4 at visiting HGC on 1 March.

- Den Bosch is unbeaten against HDM (W7 D2) since nine matches and won the last three matches between them.
- Den Bosch's last defeat against HDM was the 1-2 at Oosterplas on 18 April 2021. That was HDM's only league victory over the Boschians in a series of 52 matches (W47 D4).
- HDM lost eight of its last 11 matches and won the other three.
- HDM could win only one of its last 46 home duels with The Big Three (Amsterdam, Den Bosch and SCHC), against seven draws and as many as 38 defeats.
- Den Bosch won its last three league matches and won 10 of its last 12 games (L2). Coach Marieke Dijkstra's team lost in that series only to Kampong (4-2) and SCHC (0-4).
