What you need to know about women's match round 21
The penultimate match round in the Tulp Hoofdklasse Women is on the menu. Den Bosch plays the top match against Kampong on their own field and Tilburg must win to avoid direct relegation. Here are the stats for this weekend's six matches.

What the stats say
- SCHC has been unbeaten against HGC (W13 D3) for 16 matches in a row since a 3-2 defeat in Wassenaar on 8 November 2009.
- HGC last won on 17 October 2004 (and for the second time ever) when visiting SCHC (0-2). After that, the team from Wassenaar remained winless nine times in a row (L D L L L D L L L).
- If SCHC wins against HGC, it is sure of first place in the regular league and can defend its title in the Euro Hockey League next season.
- SCHC scored 71 goals in 20 matches, the most of any team. The club record stands at eighty goals and was set last season.
- HGC won its last two games (3-0 HDM and 2-1 Bloemendaal), but with nineteen points from twenty games is not yet sure of a longer stay in the Hoofdklasse.

What the stats say
- Kampong won 4-2 at home against Den Bosch in the first half of the competition. That victory ended a run of 48 (!) games in which the Utrecht team could not win against Den Bosch (W43 D5).
- On its own field, Den Bosch is already unbeaten against Kampong (W24 D4) for 28 matches in a row. The last home defeat dates from 6 April 1997 (1-2). Marlies Vossen and Anouk Verhaegh scored that day for the Utrechters, Dillianne van den Boogaard scored against for the home team.
- That series of 28 home matches without a loss against Kampong is the longest unbeaten home series against one specific opponent in all Hoofdklasse history.
- Kampong lost in its last 14 matches only to Amsterdam (0-4) and thus remained otherwise unbeaten thirteen times (W10 D3).
- Den Bosch won eleven of its last thirteen matches (L2). Coach Marieke Dijkstra's team lost in that series only to Kampong (4-2) and SCHC (0-4).

What the stats say
- Oranje-Rood is unbeaten against Hurley (W W D) since four matches. The last defeat against the team from Amstelveen dates from 5 November 2023 (3-0 in Amstelveen).
- The previous edition of Hurley - Oranje-Rood ended 1-2: on 27 October 2024, Bibi Donraadt scored twice for the Eindhoven side. Michelle van de Drift did something in return on behalf of Hurley.
- Hurley is 11th with 16 points, four points more than straggler Tilburg. With a win over Oranje-Rood, the team has definitively averted direct relegation.
- Hurley has been unable to win seven matches in a row in the Hoofdklasse (L L D L L D). The last win was the 0-4 at HGC on 1 March 2026.
- Oranje-Rood lost seven of its last eight away matches in the Hoofdklasse and won the other match (1-3 at Bloemendaal on 29 March).
ROTTERDAM - TILBURG

- Rotterdam lost its last three matches (1-0 Den Bosch, 0-4 Kampong and 2-1 Oranje-Rood) and has been winless since four matches (D L L L).
- Tilburg is bottom with 12 points from 20 matches. The team needs a win against Rotterdam anyway to avert direct relegation and narrow the gap with number eleven (Hurley) and Oranje-Rood (tenth).
