The Tulp Hoofdklasse Women is up to its second round of play of the season. Here you can read again the most important and striking facts and figures ahead of Saturday and Sunday's six matches.

DEN BOSCH - AMSTERDAM

What the stats say

  • Den Bosch won the last two matches between them with Amsterdam in the regular Hoofdklasse and is unbeaten against the 21-time national champion (W3 D2) since five matches.
     
  • Amsterdam last won against Den Bosch in the regular league on 18 September 2022 (2-0 at Wagener Stadium).
     
  • Amsterdam won only one of the last nine league matches with Den Bosch (D2 L6).
     
  • Including all other official matches in the playoffs, Gold Cup and EHL, the two teams have faced each other 124 times. The balance: 61 wins for Den Bosch, 35 for Amsterdam and 28 draws.
     
  • Den Bosch is already 32 games without defeat on its own field in the Hoofdklasse. The record champion won 29 times and only lost points against Amsterdam (2-2 in 2023), Kampong (1-1 in 2024) and SCHC (1-1 in 2025). What the stats say

  • Hurley remained unbeaten in the last five league matches with HGC (W D D W D) since a 2-0 defeat in Wassenaar on 30 October 2022.
     
  • That win was HGC's only victory in the last nine matches against Hurley (W4 D4).
     
  • On their own pitch, Hurley remained without defeat against HGC (W W D D D D) seven times in a row. 
     
  • Hurley started the new season with a narrow defeat against Amsterdam (4-3). The team failed to win its last seven matches in the Hoofdklasse (G3 V4).
     
  • In HGC's last two away games in the Hoofdklasse, the team got ten goals: 6-1 at SCHC and 4-0 at Kampong.

  • HDM won four of its last six matches with Oranje-Rood and lost the other two.
     
  • HDM won its last three home games against Oranje-Rood and is unbeaten against the Eindhoven side since five home matches (D D W W W).
     
  • The last time Oranje-Rood won on a visit to HDM was on 5 May 2019. It was then 0-1 through a goal by Freeke Moes.
     
  • HDM lost 12 of its last 14 regular league games (W1 D1). The only win in that series came against Huizen (1-2 on 13 March).
     
  • Both HDM and Oranje-Rood failed to score on the first round of play.

KAMPONG - TILBURG

What the stats say

  • Tilburg won only the first meeting between them with Kampong and were then deprived of a win five times (D D D L L).
     
  • Last season, Kampong won both matches against Tilburg: first a 2-4 victory in Tilburg and then a 7-0 win at home, helped by a hat-trick by Sosha Benninga.
     
  • Kampong started the new season with a 0-3 win at Oranje-Rood. Kai de Jager's team lost only one of its last 10 games in the regular league (4-1 at Den Bosch on 13 April this year).
     
  • Kampong is on a rock-solid run of home games. Of the last nineteen matches at their own Klapperboom, the Utrechters lost only one, against eight wins and seven draws. 
     
  • Tilburg lost six of its last eight matches in the Hoofdklasse (W1 D1).

PINOKÉ - SCHC

What the stats say

  • SCHC won its last 16 league matches with Pinoké since a 2-2 draw in Bilthoven on 8 November 2015.
     
  • SCHC remained unbeaten in its last 27 league matches with Pinoké since a 1-2 home defeat on 7 March 2010.
     
  • Pinoké has never won at home against SCHC: 18 matches resulted in 16 defeats and two draws.
     
  • Those two draws date from the first two editions of Pinoké-SCHC. So after that, the Stingernoses lost seventeen home duels in a row with SCHC.
     
  • Pinoké have not lost nine matches in a row on their own field (W7 D2) since the 1-3 against SCHC (!) on 26 September 2024. That run of nine home matches without a loss is an equalling of a club record from March-October 2023 for Pinoké.

ROTTERDAM - BLOEMENDAAL

What the stats say

  • Bloemendaal remained unbeaten in three of its last four matches with Rotterdam (W2 D1). 
     
  • Only the most recent encounter in that series ended in a defeat for the Mussen: 0-3 during 2023-2024, the season Bloemendaal was relegated from the Hoofdklasse.
     
  • Rotterdam lost only one of its 10 home games against Bloemendaal (0-1 on 5 March 2023). Furthermore, the team won six times and played three draws.
     
  • Rotterdam has been waiting for a goal on its own pitch for five (!) games. Since the 1-0 at Oranje-Rood through a goal by Joy Haarman in the thirteenth minute, the team failed to score against successively Kampong (0-6), Huizen (0-1), Den Bosch (0-2), Hurley (0-0) and SCHC (0-6), a run of 347 minutes.
     
  • Bloemendaal won 0-1 at Rotterdam on 5 March 2023. That was the team's last away win in the Hoofdklasse. Meanwhile, The Mussen are sixteen away games in a row without a win (D5 L11).
