Victory ladies Kampong, Amsterdam assured of play-offs
Kampong ladies won 4-1 over Pinoké on the eighteenth round of the Tulp Hoofdklasse. At the home Klapperboom, Iris de Kemp was important for the Utrecht team with two goals. Pinoké's defeat made Amsterdam the third team to secure a spot in the playoffs. Earlier, leaders SCHC and number two Kampong were already sure of a ticket.
Kampong - Pinoké 4-1
After the previous three meetings ended in 1-1, Kampong recorded a big 4-1 victory over Pinoké. This meant the team remained unbeaten against Pinoké for the sixth time in a row at the Klapperboom.
The home team had a strong start. After one minute, Iris de Kemp opened the score and five minutes before half-time she doubled the lead. Just after the break, Pinoké came back through a penalty stroke by Lana Kalse, her twelfth goal of the season. Ten minutes later, Eline Jansen put 3-1 on the board, before Luna Fokke made it 4-1 three minutes later. This brought Fokke's tally to eight goals this season and makes her the club's top scorer in the Utrecht side.
After the big home defeat against Amsterdam in early March, Kampong is now four matches in a row unbeaten, three of which were won. Pinoké suffered its second defeat in a row and only two wins in the last five league games.
