On the fifteenth round of the Tulp Hoofdklasse, Kampong ladies and Rotterdam men recorded wins. Kampong came out on top in Wassenaar on Saturday thanks to a late penalty stroke by Noor van den Nieuwenhof (2-1), while Rotterdam beat Schaerweijde 5-1 at home and underlined its status as the most productive team in the men's competition.

HGC - KAMPONG 1-2
Thanks to a penalty stroke scored by Noor van den Nieuwenhof just before time, Kampong left Wassenaar with three points. Home team HGC took the lead in the first quarter through a goal by Carlijn van Geest from a penalty corner. Kampong, which had to swallow a 4-0 defeat against Amsterdam last weekend, equalised just before half-time. Luna Fokke was prolific from a penalty corner; it was her sixth goal of the season.

The match seemed to end in a draw, just like the first meeting between the two teams this season, until Van den Nieuwenhof gave Kampong the victory. Together with leaders SCHC and Amsterdam, Kampong is the only team unbeaten on foreign soil this season. HGC continues its weak run. The team has not won ten matches in a row in the Tulp Hoofdklasse and suffered its third defeat in a row.

ROTTERDAM - SCHAERWEIJDE 5-1
Rotterdam lived up to its reputation as the most productive team in the Tulp Hoofdklasse Men. At the Schouten Zekerheid Stadium, Schaerweijde was beaten 5-1. The Rotterdammers still have three home matches ahead of them to set a club record. The highest number of home goals stands at 47 in 11 matches; after eight matches this season, the tally already stands at 45.

Pepijn van der Heijden opened the scoring after only two minutes by pushing in a hit from a penalty corner. It was his fourteenth goal of the season, including ten in front of his own crowd. No one has scored as many goals in a home game this season as him. Guus Jansen was prolific twice and with a total of ten goals improved his personal record, which stood at nine since last season. The other Rotterdam goals came from Joaquin Menini and Olivier Hortensius. At 3-0, Jelle Westendorp scored for Schaerweijde from a penalty stroke.

It was Rotterdam's sixth win in the last eight league matches. Schaerweijde returned home with its second defeat in the last three league matches.
