Michelle Fillet will leave Amsterdam at the end of the season. The 27-year-old striker is ready for a new adventure, although she has yet to work out her future plans.

Fillet has played with Amsterdam since the 2019-2020 season after previously playing for six years at Kampong. She won the national title with Amsterdam in 2023 and the Euro Hockey League in 2022 and 2024. In 12 seasons in Tulp Hoofdklasse, the goalscorer accounted for 95 goals: 29 with Kampong and now 66 as an Amsterdam player.

Fillet gained publicity last season after she became the first player in the Hoofdklasse Women to choose to wear shorts instead of skirts. Her choice found followers and sparked a wider discussion about dress codes in women's hockey.

About her future plans, Fillet does not yet let on: 'I enjoyed my time at Amsterdam. After the summer it is time for a new step and a new adventure. I am looking forward to what the future holds.' Earlier, Maria Verschoor announced her departure from Amsterdam.
