Matias Vila leaves as coach of Tilburg's team

Coach Matias Vila has decided to end his work with the ladies of Tilburg. The Argentine, in his second season with the Tilburg team, will start work as analytical coach with the India ladies, which is led by Sjoerd Marijne.

Under Vila's leadership, Tilburg finished sixth in the Tulp Hoofdklasse last season and reached the Gold Cup final for the first time in club history, losing to Den Bosch.

The club will search for a new coach. Until then, preparation will be taken care of internally by the current staff. In addition, Joep van Nuland, assistant coach of Men 1, will temporarily take care of some training sessions. Tilburg ended the first half of the season in eleventh place with six points from twelve matches.
