Yara Akkerman makes switch to Amsterdam

With the youth teams of The Hague club, Akkerman captured seven Dutch titles. She was also part of the U18 team, with which she became European champion in Lille last summer. With twenty goals, Akkerman crowned herself top scorer of the Hoofdklasse Zaal this winter.

'Amsterdam feels like the perfect next step for me,' says Akkerman in the press release. 'The combination of top sport, development and the family feeling appeals to me enormously.'
