There is no measure of Boris Burkhardt for now

After nine rounds of play, sixteen goals have already been scored by Boris Burkhardt. Amsterdam's striker - good for a hat-trick against Hurley last Sunday (6-3 win) - is known for his solid penalty corner and also regularly scores from the penalty spot. 

This season, Burkhardt is also awfully prolific from field goals. He has already scored eight field goals, more than any other player in the Tulp Hoofdklasse. Nathan Ephraums of Bloemendaal follows with seven field goals.

In the last 15 years, only three other players had 16 goals to their name after the first nine games. Ashley Jackson did it on behalf of HGC in 2008-2009, Gonzalo Peillat did it in 2015-2016 (also on behalf of HGC) and Jeroen Hertzberger performed it at Rotterdam in 2022-2023.
