Nathan Ephraums, king of field goals
Bloemendaal attacker Nathan Ephraums is the eight player this season to reach double figures after the first half of the competition last weekend.
Ephraums scored twice in the away match against Nijmegen, which The Mussen won by a big margin: 0-8. The Australian striker has now scored ten goals in this league, and all of them came from field play.
No other player has scored as many field goals as Ephraums in the first 12 rounds of the league, which makes him forget his predecessor Thierry Brinkman. Miles Bukkens (Pinoké), Boris Burkhardt (Amsterdam) and Thibeau Stockbroekx (Oranje-Rood) follow close behind with eight field goals each.
Bloemendaal is the first club this season with two players in double figures. Earlier, Marc Miralles did just that. The Spaniard, blessed with an excellent penalty corner, produced 14 goals already this season.
